Aikido / Hapkido

Aikido and Hapkido are used in close range self defense. This training develops and strengthens the hands, arms and legs. Hapkido movements from Korea combine punching and kicking with joint manipulations. Aikido techniques from Japan are strictly defensive requiring flexibility, coordination and speed.

Benefits:
Aikido and Hapkido movements emphasize the development of individual joints, particularly of the wrists, elbows and shoulders. Joints need to be properly conditioned before practicing Aikido and Hapkido.
